    Nom Nom Cupcakes...

I come here on special occasions and buy a box of 6 or 12 cupcakes. Sometimes for smaller events, I get the mini's.

Love the mini cupcakes, because you don't feel as guilty eating it and you can try more flavors!

Some favorites include the carrot cake, dulce de leche, chocolate marshmallow, oh my so many good ones.

They also have gluten free cupcakes which is great!

Not cheap, can get a box of 6 mini's for $15, but its fresh, delicious and nom nom.

These are no ordinary cupcakes. Choose from 20 types including strawberry, banana, peanut butter, chocolate marshmallow, pistachio and rose, orange and almond, and caramel ($3.80 each or $40/dozen).  My favourite one is Red Velvet- delicious, wonderfully moist, chocolate cake with coconut cream cheese filling.

This ambitious bakery also offers gift boxes and cupcake layered caked for parties, special occasions and corporate events. You can order intricate arrangements of ghost cupcakes for Halloween; cupcakes covered in sprinkles that glitter like jewels for your little girl's next birthday; incredibly cute baby shower cupcakes; soccer cupcakes for kids' end-of-season team parties. These decorative masterpieces also come with edible message plates to personalise your gift.

They use no artificial flavourings in their products which is great because if you're going to treat yourself, make sure it's the real deal!

Okay so I'll be the first to say this place makes great red velvet cupcakes. In fact, correct me if I'm wrong, but I think Ghermez introduced red velvet cupcakes to Sydney.

Anyway, I have ordered those amazingly delicious red cupcakes time and time again from Ghermez.

Except last Friday, when I visited the George Street store, I happened to see a fly land on top of one of the big cupcakes and walk around in the icing.

I could not eat there anymore.

I cannot pay $4.80 for a cupcake that's been trampled by a fly.

I'm so sorry, because the red velvet is just as good as Magnolia Bakery's red velvet cupcake.

Ya gotta love a food store called "Ghermez", amiright? Especially one as pristine and hygienic-looking as this cupcake specialty store. Cupcakes are so trendy at the moment they may as well be wearing a floral dress and army boots, and in fact if you wanted some made that *were*, Ghermez could probably sort that out for you.

They use only natural ingredients at Ghermez and have some fabulously creative flavours like the Turkish Delight-inspired pistachio and rosewater, rabbit-inspired carrot and walnut and pudding-inspired sticky date. You can choose from the display, have your company logo printed on a cupcake or mix and match with one of their preset designs to create your own.

Cupcakes are divine. I bought a dozen in a box and unfortunately if you don't carry them flat and straight the icing will end up everywhere. Lesson learnt the hard way.
